Stephen Amell Expects Supergirl to Cross Over with Arrow
Supergirl is finally moving to its rightful home at The CW, and after the wonderful Supergirl/Flash crossover led to lots of happy fans and a huge bump in the ratings, we only assumed that more of them would happen once the two shows were on the same network. And according to Stephen Amell, we can look forward to Melissa Benoist popping into all of the DCTV CW shows, including Arrow.

In a new interview with Loaded Online promoting the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Amell was asked about whether Supergirl would cross over with Arrow, and he essentially responded with, "Obviously":

Opening quote
"Do bears you-know-what in the woods? I think that it's highly likely that if you have four DC superhero properties on one network, that is an opportunity that may not ever exist again and certainly hasn't ever existed in the history of television. So I would expect that we would do something."
Closing quote

Of course, we have no idea if he means that anything is actually in the works, and considering that the move to The CW just happened, it's probably too early for that. But as he said, it seems like common sense for all of the shows to cross over with each other, especially since it's proven to be so popular with the fans. Supergirl might have a little more trouble fitting into Arrow's darker, broodier tone, but then again, Barry manages it, so maybe she could inject some much-needed levity into the proceedings. (I think she and Felicity would get along swimmingly.)

Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on The CW.
