Watch: Greg Nicotero Previews the Walking Dead Attraction at Universal Studios
The Walking Dead attraction is coming to Universal Studios, and none other than Greg Nicotero lent a hand to make it true to the Walking Dead universe. In a new video, the executive producer and make-up/special effects artist takes us inside the making of the attraction, and all the ways he helped make it "100% as authentic as possible":

In the video, Nicotero shows us many of the effects used for the (seemingly very realistic) attraction, mostly the animatronic walkers that move around and make noise all around you. Most notable, they use actual models from the show, including iconic walkers like "Bicycle Girl" from the pilot, and turn them into animatronic figures at the attraction.

By all accounts, this attraction will be pretty scary, even if you've already been to the Walking Dead attraction at Halloween Horror Nights. When the creative directors previewed the fixture at Wonder Con, they claimed that they "don't hold back on anything, even the gore," and that they will recreate memorable scenes like the "God forgive us" scene in season one and Daryl and Beth's foray into arson in season four.

Here's the original teaser trailer for the event:
