Leaked Scene Description for Star Wars: Episode VIII Reveals the Knights of Ren
Star Wars: Episode VIII is keeping plot details tightly under wraps, as The Force Awakens did and as it probably should be. But there will inevitably be leaks, so for the non-spoiler-averse among you, Making Star Wars has a full scene description from the next film. It involves the Knights of Ren, Rey, Kylo, and some other familiar faces, but I'll leave the rest for after the jump.

Possible spoilers for Star Wars: Episode VIII ahead!

Possible spoilers ahead! (Click to reveal)

According to the report, a Making Star Wars source saw the actors filming a scene in which "black helmeted medieval looking figures" are going after Rey and Luke Skywalker on the coast of Ahch-To. Rey and Luke have some tension between them because Rey doesn't want to kill Kylo Ren, but Luke says she has to. Kylo wants revenge on Rey after she "disgraced him" in the first film. Kylo isn't wearing his mask, and is armed with the same crossguard lightsaber.

Rey and Kylo duel one-on-one and end up alongside a cliff, while Luke fights the other Knights of Ren on his own, using the Force and his green lightsaber. He dispatches them all one-by-one, and then finds Kylo alone and Rey gone, apparently having fallen over the cliff. When Kylo sees that Luke has taken out the entire squad, he retreats.

If this is true, it's very spoiler-y. Making Star Wars has been fairly reliable in the past, making many correct predictions about The Force Awakens, but it's so early that a report this detailed is likely to be at least somewhat inaccurate. But still, it looks like the Episode VIII rumor mill is in full swing, which means we're in for an interesting year.

Star Wars: Episode VIII opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
