The CW Plans a Four-Way Crossover Between Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow
Now that Supergirl is moving to The CW, we expected crossovers with other DCTV shows on the network, particularly The Flash. Now, CW boss Mark Pedowitz is going one step further in making our nerdy dreams come true, and is planning an epic crossover between all of the CW superhero shows: Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow.

At the CW upfronts this morning, Pedowitz hailed Supergirl's move to the network, saying that it "should have been [ours] in the first place," and teasing a crossover between all of the DC shows. He didn't give any details, presumably since it's early in development, but he confirmed that all four shows being will be involved when he told reporters (via EWthat a crossover episode is already being planned for this fall, and that it will be "our biggest one ever."

Opening quote
"Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December."
Closing quote

My head hurts a little just imagining that--mostly because of the number of characters on Legends of Tomorrow--but in a good way. These shows are at their best when they're having lots of fun, and a huge superhero crossover will be just that. We've already seen crossovers between The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, as well as the Supergirl/Flash episode, and they've all been wonderful and have given all of the shows a boost. It isn't a big surprise, since crossovers always help with the ratings, so a mega-crossover is pretty much a no-brainer, but it is a nice one.
