Stephen Amell Teases Arrow's Season 5 Villain
Arrow's fourth season will soon reach its conclusion, but it seems as though many are already setting their sights on what the future has in store for Olly and team. After the rumor that season 5 would play out like a DC Comics version of Daredevil vs Punisher, fans have been speculating who or what Team Arrow will be facing next season.

That same rumor claimed a character named James would serve as Arrow's foil next season, adding that the character wouldn't have any superpowers and would be driven by his desire to avenge a "tragic loss". The prospect of Arrow getting back to basics is an attractive one, especially given this season's turbulent nature. However, until now this was merely a report that hadn't been substantiated by anybody at the show. Now, Stephen Amell has given us reason to place a little more faith in that report as he teased what the show had planned for its fifth season.

Opening quote
"I've heard that our big bad, our villain, is something that you can really only do once you're in the fifth, sixth or seventh season of a TV show," Amell told Variety. "As far as I know, they don't have superpowers. I'll tell you that."
Closing quote

So, we've at least had the unpowered part of the previous report confirmed. However, quite what the comments about them being a villain you could only do in a fifth, sixth, or seventh season are all about, we're not quite sure.
