Honest Trailer Released For 'X-Men: The Animated Series'
We all have fond memories of X-Men: The Animated Series, the Fox cartoon that debuted in 1992 and helped make the mutants Marvel's biggest stars of the '90s. The classic storylines, Wolverine's relentless rebelliousness, that epic theme song - it was everything a kid could ask for. But is it possible that it's not quite as good as we all remember it to be?

The folks at Screen Junkies are out to prove that very theory with their newest Honest Trailer, which sets out to tear the series apart, but ends up going pretty easy on it and comparing it favorably to the X-Men film series. They credit the show's takes on the Pheonix Saga, Wolverine's origin, and Days of Future Past to all be as good or better than their movie counterparts, as well as giving a nod to that catchy theme. So what do they go after?

Along with some general '90s bashing, the video rightfully criticizes Jubilee's importance on the show, Storm's goofy power announcements, and the general ineptitude of Sentinels. Check out the video below, and good luck getting that theme song out of your head once you do.
