Geoff Johns Reveals the Title of Justice League: Part One
Lately, there's been a few rumors going around concerning what the title of the Justice League film might be that originated at Heroic Hollywood. However, Geoff Johns recently put those rumors to rest when he out and out tweeted the name of the film. So what will the first Justice League movie be titled? Justice League.

The four rumored titles were Justice League: Angels and Demons, Justice League: Gods Among Us, Justice League: Gods Among Men, and Justice League: United. Umberto Gonzalez talked about these rumored names a bit on his latest episode of Heroic Insider.

To be fair, however, Gonzalez did make it explicitly clear that these rumors may not have any truth to them and that they were currently under active investigation. Gonzalez and Heroic Hollywood have had a pretty accurate track record in the past, correctly predicting many aspects of BvS and the Suicide Squad trailers before they ever premiered among numerous other scoops.

It's probably best that the studio has chosen to stick with a simple name, especially as "Gods Among Us" brings to mind the Injustice video game and the comic series it inspired. While there were certainly some references to that story in the Knightmare sequence of BvS, it would be incredibly weird for the movie to be largely inspired by that storyline, as it features a Superman gone bad. If they were ever thinking about that name (which it doesn't seem they ever were at this point), it would of seemed like they were ripping off the name of a popular storyline to create hype for a film that really had little to do with the source material (much like what was done with Civil War).

Justice League: Part One premieres on November 17, 2017.
