Peter Capaldi Says He Just Shot a Scene with Clara Oswald
Doctor Who's Clara Oswald has officially exited for the tenth season, as a new Companion was announced after the Christmas special. But according to Peter Capaldi, we still might be seeing Jenna Coleman on our screens as Clara again, and sooner than we might have anticipated.

Last we saw Clara, she was cheating death by traveling through spacetime with Arya Stark Ashildr, and had wiped the Twelfth Doctor's memories of her entirely. But according to Peter Capaldi, we haven't seen the last of the latest Companion:

Opening quote
"I'm not sure how successfully Clara was able to wipe his mind," he said at the Doctor Who panel at Awesome Con (via Radio Times). "I just… I was about to tell you something I can't tell you."

But then, after he was prodded for details, he revealed to the crowd:

Opening quote
"I just shot something that Clara was still there in."
Closing quote

Does this mean we'll be seeing Clara on Doctor Who again? It's unclear whether he meant that Jenna Coleman would have an actual cameo (although it wouldn't be unheard of, since she's still off with Ashildr somewhere), or whether the Doctor would just remember his former Companion, and she's "there" in his mind. Or, alternatively, since Doctor Who isn't filming right now, it's more likely that they'll both make appearances on the Doctor Who young adult spin-off Class, which takes place at Coal Hill Secondary School, where Clara taught in seasons eight and nine.

Doctor Who is set to return in 2017, while Class is set to premiere sometime this year on BBC.
