'Rogue One' May Be in More Serious Trouble Than We Thought
When we first heard that Rogue One was undergoing reshoots, we were assured that this type of thing was normal and it was no big deal. But now a couple of new reports have us seriously worried about this movie.

The first, out of The Playlist, claims that The Bourne Legacy director Tony Gilroy is directing the reshoots of the film - not the movie's actual director, Gareth Edwards. Having a second director take over the reins for the reshoots doesn't sound like something that would add up to a consistent and coherent film, but maybe it would turn out all right if it were only a couple scenes. But according to a scoop from Latino Review, Disney is reshooting close to half the film. That means that if these reports are true, then at worst case scenario we're looking at a movie that's half directed by Gilroy and half by Edwards. And films made by multiple people who don't work together do not turn out well; just watch Fantastic Four for proof... actually, don't watch Fantastic Four, just trust me.

We'll have to keep an eye on this story as more news continues to come out regarding the reshoots, but right now we're very, very worried about the status of things in a galaxy far, far away.
