Sharon Stone's Mystery Marvel Character Has a Heat-Related Superpower
Last month, Sharon Stone made the surprise reveal that she will have a "wee part" in a Marvel movie, but wouldn't reveal which character it is or even which movie she'll be in. And we're still in the dark about both of those things, but now Stone has revealed the first tantalizing hint about her character: she has a heat-related superpower.

The news was broken in an interview with AARP, in which Stone revealed that her "secret power is heat" in a still-unnamed upcoming Marvel movie. This could refer to any number of characters in the Marvel universe, but at the very least we seem to have confirmation that she will play a hero/villain from the comics, which means her role may be more significant than she let on. She could be a secondary villain, or she could have a small role that will lead to bigger things in the future. It would be strange, after all, if Marvel cast such a high-profile actress for a small, one-off role.

But who could she be playing? There are several mutants with heat generation powers, such as Angel Salvadore, but Marvel doesn't have the rights to them. Surtur, the Norse fire god, is a possibility for Thor: Ragnarok. She could also play a gender-swapped Molten Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming, or a new character altogether. We'll have to wait and see!
