Marvel Is Coming Back to San Diego Comic Con
Last year, Marvel fans missed out on seeing their favorite franchise at San Diego Comic Con, the biggest nerd event of the year. But in 2016, Marvel is staging an SDCC comeback, as Doctor Strange is confirmed to have a presence (and probably Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 as well).

It's not too much of a surprise that Marvel is returning to SDCC, as they mostly didn't attend last year because they dropped all of their huge news at that now-legendary Marvel Event, and because there were no imminent releases for them to promote. This year, though, Doctor Strange is coming out in November, so it only makes sense that they would promote it (and maybe drop another trailer??).

We would also expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, both because it comes out next year and because director James Gunn left this tantalizing hint:

This is potentially even more exciting, as Guardians will have finished principal photography by then, and we haven't even seen a first trailer yet. We would also hope to see announcements about other upcoming films like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Infinity War, but we can't be too greedy. (Just kidding, we totally can.)

San Diego Comic Con runs from July 21-24, with a Preview Night on July 20.
