The Star Trek VR Game Looks Awesome
With E3 happening this week, there's a lot of exciting news coming out in the world of video games. But perhaps the most exciting is the trailer release for the new virtual reality Star Trek game, Star Trek: Bridge Crew. And no, your eyes do not deceive you, I really did just use "virtual reality" and "Star Trek" in the same sentence.

The game requires you and your friends to work together, in the virtual world, to pilot the star ship Enterprise. The storyline involves navigating your way through an uncharted area of space called The Trench to find a suitable planet for a population of Vulcan refugees, but of course, you end up running into some hostile Klingons along the way.  The new trailer presented at E3 features Star Trek alums Jeri Ryan, Levar Burton, and Karl Urban playing the game, and it looks amazing. You have to work together as a team to get anything accomplished, and the technology of the game is pretty impressive, as it features real-time lip-syncing so when your friends talk in real life, you see their characters talk in the game. Who needs a tricorder when you've got that?

The game will be available for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and you can check out the trailer below.
