Yes, An Alien Will Get Punched in Independence Day: Resurgence
Liam Hemsworth, the little brother of Chris Hemsworth, seems to be having no trouble catching up to his big brother's success, which is no small task seeing as how his older brother, Chris, is one of the central members of the MCU's Avengers and the star of his own solo line of superhero movies as the Norse god/alien, Thor. Liam has starred as Gale in The Hunger Games series, and has starred alongside a handful of other big name actors in certain other films as well. Most recently, he stars in the upcoming sequel to the 90s sci-fi cult favorite, Independence Day: Resurgence.
In a recent interview, Hemsworth talked a bit about his role in the movie, and in the interview, he reveals that the classic scene from the original film where Col. Hiller (played by Will Smith) punches an alien in the face, will be recreated in it's own form for the sequel.
In the interview, Hemsworth tells how the scene wasn't originally in the script for the film However, upon Hemsworth's suggestion, it was added in. As the scene from the first film was undoubtedly on of the funniest and must iconic moments from the movie, it's certainly a whole other reason to be excited for the franchise's revamp on June 24, 2016.
