Amber Heard is Reportedly “Too Skinny” For Her Role as Mera in Justice League
By now, most are probably familiar with the issues that have come up between Amber Heard and her husband Johnny Depp, with Amber alleging abuse and filing for a restraining order and Depp claiming that she's just trying to blackmail him. It's certainly a sad situation indeed, and it looks like, as many of these things often do, it will be affecting Heard's professional life as well for Justice League.

TMZ recently reported that Heard, who's supposed to be playing Mera, Aquaman's love interest, didn't go to her costume fitting in London this week, as the producer's didn't think that her recent weight loss due to stress would make her camera ready for the film.

Some are wondering whether or not the situation will lead to Heard dropping out of the film altogether, which would be pretty unfortunate. As this issue between her and Depp doesn't seem to be going away, who knows how long it could interfere with her responsibilities to the movie? While the size of her role is still unknown, filming is currently underway, and it's not like they can postpone her scenes forever.

Hopefully, things work out and Heard is able to join the cast in England soon. She's a talented actress, and would be a wonderful asset to the film. However, if not, Snyder and company may be forced into considering  another suitable actress for the role.

Justice League is set to premiere in November of 2017, though it's hoped that the first footage from the film will be shown this year at SDCC.
