New Suicide Squad Poster Revealed
With Suicide Squad being the last big superhero movie of the summer, it's definitely taken the spotlight as of late. News of its track list just hit the web, and new promotional photos and images are being released all the time. Adding to that list, the newest poster for the film has just been dropped by the movie's official Twitter account.

The somewhat psychedelic color scheme is still present here, which has been fun to look at, and the cartoon artwork is actually a pretty crazy, and thus fitting, choice. Most of the images of the characters also seem to be somewhat new (though at this point, there's been enough images released of all of them that it's getting hard to tell what's new and what's already been used).

The final trailer for the film should be on the way sometime soon, and some have been speculating that the big news that's been rumored to hit on Thursday could be the trailer itself. Some industry insiders have already warned that this will be the trailer that finally gives away some of the plot elements, but as there haven't been basically any plot details given away as of yet, that shouldn't be too big of a deal unless it goes overboard - no body likes when the movie spoils itself.

It's all but been confirmed that Enchantress is going to be the major threat the team faces in the film, and this poster also seems to support that idea, as she's one of the characters in the center of it, albeit on the bottom. Other than that, fans know that there'll be some cameo appearances by Batman, potentially showing how the team initially got locked up, and some backstory for Harley Quinn. Other than that, where and what the team will be doing is pretty much a mystery.

Suicide Squad is going to be the first of its kind, a villain team-up movie that has the villains fighting for the side of good instead of evil. That's certainly a fun and exciting premise, and it no doubt marks the newest step in the evolution of comic book movies.

Suicide Squad premieres on August 5th, 2016.
