Batman v Superman R-Rated Ultimate Cut Coming to Theaters for One Night Only
Taking its cue from The Killing Joke movie (and trying to make up for its disappointing box office, no doubt), Batman v Superman is releasing the R-rated Ultimate Cut in theaters for one night only.

The event will take place on June 27, about one week after the Blu-ray drops, in select cities such as Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. You can find a theater and buy tickets here.

Opening quote
"As a thank you to all of the fans, Zack [Snyder] and the filmmakers would like to invite you to a special theatrical screening of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition," Warner Bros. wrote on DC All-Access (via Comicbook.com). "This one night only experience will be on Monday, June 27th in select cities. Reserve your seats now as space is limited."
Closing quote

After Batman v Superman came out in theaters to middling box office (and heavy criticism that the movie makes no goddamn sense), Zack Snyder and the producers worked hard to create a mythos that the R-Rated ultimate edition is the "definitive" version of the movie. It supposedly fills lots of plot holes about Lex Luthor's plan, makes Superman a little less murder-y, expands Batman's highly acclaimed fight scenes, and includes Jena Malone's completely anticlimactic mystery character. I don't think 30 minutes of footage could mitigate all of the concerns about the movie, but I think it's a possibility that it will make the movie significantly better.
