The Flash Adds Harry Potter's Tom Felton as a Series Regular
We hope this means that the Harry Potter universe is some sort of alternate timeline. The Flash has just added Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy, as a series regular for season three.

Felton is playing an antagonist, as per usual, a man named Julian Dorn who will threaten Barry's secret superhero identity. His character is described as "a fellow CSI at the Central City Police Department who suspects there's more to Barry Allen than just his good guy reputation." There is no comics character by that name, so he is likely an original creation, although there's a chance that he is a version of a comics character that's being kept under wraps.

Felton is no stranger to the geek community; in addition to his iconic role in Harry Potter, he also appeared in the 2011 reboot Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but this is his first foray into the superhero genre. Aside from The Flash, he will next appear in the British biopic A United Kingdom, starring David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike.

The Flash returns for its third season on October 4 on The CW.
