New International Suicide Squad Poster Hits the Web
Though the Clown Prince of Crime isn't a member of the titular Suicide Squad, it's clear that his direct connection to Harley Quinn, who's become a staple of the team, means that he's going to have a somewhat sizable role in the upcoming movie. As such, Jared Leto's Joker takes the spotlight in this new international poster for the film, which has a blown up picture of his smile centered in the background.

This poster gives the closest look yet at the Leto-Joker's capped teeth, which have come under heavy criticism from some of the DCEU fanbase ever since the first image of Leto's Joker hit the web around April of last year. Some said they were grills, which was likely concluded because of this Joker's "gangster" aesthetic. However, from the beginning it was evident to anyone that was really looking that these weren't grills, but rather the probable result of a run-in with one of Gotham's caped heroes. Now there's a flashback that everyone wants to see!

The next few months will likely be a bonanza of sorts for DC fans anticipating the release of Suicide Squad, as SDCC will undoubtedly be heavily Squad-centric. Likewise, the final trailer has yet to hit the web, and at least one more Suicide Squad music video should be on its way rather soon. Hopefully the film proves to be a lot less divisive than BatmanSuperman and leaves comic book film fans of every variety relatively satisfied.

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5th, 2016.
