Who's the best playable character in Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Rey? Finn? Poe? Or how about J.J. Abrams?

J.J. Abrams?!

That's right, you can officially play as J.J. Abrams in the new Lego Star Wars game. This new exclusive video from HR details how Abrams is one of the many unlockable lego characters in the game, which was just released for home and handheld consoles this week. Actually, he's not the only non-fictional character to make his way into the game - Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm and producer of TFA, is also in the newest edition of Lego Star Wars as well.

It's awesome that Abrams, who in a very real way was the real "hero" of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has his own playable lego avatar in the game. After the unspeakable tragedy that was the prequels, the Star Wars franchise needed rejuvenated in a really big way, and Abrams was able to accomplish that. Right now, there's a lot of hope for the future of Star Wars movies, even despite the negative rumors about Rogue One, simply because of what Abrams was able to do with TFA.

This may be a kind of burn towards George Lucas, who it seems hasn't received his own playable character in the game. Of course, he was also totally uninvolved in the production of TFA, so it makes sense as to why. He may be the father of the franchise, but as the creator of the prequels and with the terrible revisions he's made to the theatrical cuts of the original trilogy, it would seem that there's only a minority of fans that actually care that he's not as involved in the moviemaking process as he once was.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens has received mostly favorable reviews and is currently available on consoles such as Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation Vita, Wii U, and Nintendo 3Ds.
