Batman Confronts Joker in New Clip from Batman: The Killing Joke
Batman: The Killing Joke is one of the most anticipated upcoming DC movies, as it's based on arguably the most classic Joker origin story of all time. Now, DC All Access has released a clip from the film, featuring Batman confronting Joker in prison:

(Clip starts around 3:55)

In the clip, Batman tries to reason with Joker by convincing him that if their relationship continues as it is, then it will amount to mutually assured destruction. Batman is voiced in the film by Kevin Conroy, who played the Caped Crusader in the animated series, and while Joker doesn't have any dialogue in this clip, he will be played by Mark Hamill, who has often been praised as the definitive version of the classic villain.

The scene seems to be well-acted and well-paced, with the actors making the toxic and codependent relationship between Joker and Batman very clearly drawn. The animation is a little more hit-or-miss; it seems to be very faithful to the comic, but from this footage it looks more like a motion comic than an animated movie.

Batman: The Killing Joke also stars Tara Strong (Teen Titans) as Barbara Gordon and Ray Wise (Robocop) as Commissioner Gordon. It will come out for one night in limited theaters on July 25, for which tickets are now on sale, after debuting for fans at SDCC on July 20-24. It will come out on Blu-ray and DVD on August 2.
