Fan Redraws Batman: The Killing Joke Trailer, Somehow Makes it Even Better
Has there ever been as much anticipation over a DC Comics animated movie as there has been with Batman: The Killing Joke? The movie, which is getting its world premiere at San Diego Comic Con later this month, is proving so popular that the studio has even decided to release it for a limited time in theaters.

The cause of all this excitement is partly the fact that The Killing Joke is arguably one of the greatest Batman/Joker stories of all time, but also because everything we've seen of the project so far looks absolutely brilliant. Mark Hamill has returned to lend his voice to the Joker, just as Kevin Conroy is reprising his role as Batman. That in itself is cause for excitement, but when the first footage and trailer were released, fans seemed to know they had a hit on their hands.

Now, we're learning that this movie is so hot, even the fan-edits are a hit. YouTube use Plan Making Mammals has created a fan-edit of The Killing Joke's trailer in which they have redrawn every single scene to make it look more like the graphic novel from Alan Moore, Brian Bolland and John Higgins. And, do you know what? It's actually, somehow, even better than the movie's original trailer.

Want to watch a side by side comparison of the two? They've got you covered in the video below.
