The Original Odinson to Return in New "Unworthy Thor" Series
Jane Foster has taken up the mantle of Thor for a couple of years now, and is a more-than-worthy God of Thunder. But the original Thor Odinson is still around in the Marvel universe, and he will return in full force in his own series, The Unworthy Thor, which will come out this fall.

The Unworthy Thor

Odinson was found to be unworthy of Mjolnir shortly before Jane Foster picked it up for him, and he has only been seen a couple of times since. But in his new series, he will discover that there's a possibility that he could pick up another hammer, specifically the Ultimate Thor's hammer, which is available after the Ultimate Universe ended.

But that being said, Odinson isn't "returning" to the Thor mantle just yet. Jane's adventures as Thor will continue, while his status is very much still up in the air. There's a possibility that after this series, there will be two Thors, just as there are now two Captain Americas, but his superhero status is so ambiguous, he won't even be called by his first name.

Opening quote
"How he will be referred to as far as we know right now, he's given up being Thor," writer Jason Aaron told io9. "He gave that to Jane. Doesn't want to be called that name. But we also know he's on a quest to figure out who he is, without Mjolnir. And striving to become worthy again. So, you know this book really kicks off by him finding out- you know what, there's another hammer out there- there's another Mjolnir. It sets him off on the thing, so... is this it? Is this how he becomes worthy? How he becomes Thor again? That's one of the big questions driving the book."
Closing quote

So Thor may very well prove himself worthy again using this hammer (which may have different standards for "worthiness," since it comes from a different universe, but it's been stressed by both Marvel and Aaron that this is a companion series to Jane Foster's Thor, not a replacement.

Opening quote
The Jane Foster story, I mean, it continues on. Everything she's been dealing with, in terms of the expanding war of the realms, I can't wait to do villains for her, like the Exterminatrix and Silver Samurai, it's a really big story for her. She's got her own stuff to deal with. A lot that stretches back [before Secret Wars], too.
Closing quote

The Unworthy Thor #1 will come out in comic book stores as part of Marvel's 'Marvel Now!' initiative this fall.
