SDCC 2016: Full Schedule for Wednesday and Thursday Released

Thursday, 07 July 2016 - 5:30PM
San Diego Comic Con
Luke Cage
Thursday, 07 July 2016 - 5:30PM
The biggest nerd event of the year is rapidly approaching, and news of Marvel's big return, AMC's Walking Dead and Preacher double whammy, and a Batfleck appearance have started trickling out. But now, we have the full schedule for Wednesday and Thursday, and it includes screenings of some of fall's most anticipated pilots, Luke Cage, Valerian, and more.

Wednesday is, as always, SDCC's Preview Night, which consists of world premieres of pilots for the upcoming television season. This year, it includes new CW geek shows like the gritty Archie comics adaptation Riverdale and the Frequency reboot, as well as the DC Comics Office-style comedy Powerless, the alien invasion comedy People of Earth, and the H.G. Wells series Time After Time.

Thursday is the first full day of programming, and it's a little light on the movie side, as the only big sci-fi blockbuster in Hall H is Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (and Oliver Stone's Snowden, randomly). It's more exciting on the TV side, with Luke Cage, Mr. Robot, The Man in the High Castle, the Star Trek anniversary panel, and news on the relaunch of the Battlestar Galactica franchise.

Here are the highlights from the schedule, and you can find the full schedule at Comic Con's website
