John Barrowman Promoted to Series Regular Across All Flarrowverse Shows
The CW is about to get a whole lot more Malcolm Merlyn. John Barrowman has just been promoted to a series regular, but rather than just being a regular on one particular show, he has a deal across all the DCTV shows.

According to TV Line, the celebrated character actor will be a regular on Arrow, Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. It doesn't specify whether Supergirl is part of the deal, but since the show is now officially part of the Flarrowverse, there's no reason it wouldn't be part of the contract (and at the very least, any Arrow/Flash character can cross over to Supergirl at any time).

Barrowman has been on Arrow since the first season, although he was a recurring character until season three, when he was promoted to series regular. He has also appeared on The Flash, but only in a crossover capacity, while the new contract stipulates that he is officially a regular character on (at least) all three current CW DC shows. His deal is similar to Wentworth Miller's back in May, when he became a recurring character on both The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
