New Wonder Woman Photos Show Off Diana Prince's New Costume
Gal Godot's debut as Wonder Woman was undoubtedly one of the highlights of Batman v Superman, in spite of the fact that her dark costume didn't at all resemble her normal colorful get-up. Now, new photos have come out from the Wonder Woman solo movie, and they show off her updated armor, which is essentially a more colorful version of her Batman v Superman outfit:

As you can see, her costume now has the signature red and blue color scheme (her costume in Batman v Superman technically did as well, but the colors were so drab it just looked brown). It's a definite improvement, and hopefully that brighter, more vibrant aesthetic will be reflected in the general tone of the movie. It's also much more faithful to the comics, which is a plus, although I wouldn't complain if they departed from the comics to make her costume a little more practical. or took their cue from her new costume in the comics and just gave her pants already.

EW also released pictures of Gadot with her costar Chris Pine, who plays "damsel-in-distress" love interest Steve Trevor, a World War II pilot who crash-lands on her Amazonian island. Gadot can also be seen with director Patty Jenkins, who was previously best known for directing the Oscar-winning film Monster.

Opening quote
"Wonder Woman" hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
