Watch the Official Comic-Con 2016 Trailer for Suicide Squad
Today has been a rather exciting day for comics fans, with the first ever Wonder Woman trailer and the first Justice League teaser hitting the web after their premieres in Hall H. They're not the only DC movies with new footage out, however. The next upcoming film from the comics powerhouse, Suicide Squad, also had a new trailer drop as well, and it's just as fun as you'd think.

Though there's not a ton of new footage, some new scenes detailing the squad's initiative is present (they're going to that "swirling ring of trash in the sky"). From the other footage, it's easy to put together that this is likely being caused by Enchantress, meaning that speculations about her being the antagonist were probably accurate.

There are definitely some more fun shots of the squad in the new trailer as well, with Jai Courtney's Boomerang featuring in a few particularly amusing scenes. Likewise, there's a scene of Superman's funeral, and it seems that there going to try to make it seem as though the formation of the squad is in the interest of national security in the wake of his demise at the hands of Doomsday, which actually makes total sense.

The trailer is set to "Heathens," "Sucka For Pain," and "Purple Lamborghini," all of which are from the soundtrack of the film and have received Suicide Squad themed music videos (except for Purple Lamborghini - that one is still on the way).

Suicide Squad is now less than two weeks away from hitting theaters on August 5th.
