Check Out Concept Art for Disney Theme Parks' Upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stole the show among an action packed line-up at San Diego Comic Con's Hall H on Saturday. Between a gaggle of Ravagers storming the stage, Yondu entering the arena in full costume, and the reveal of Kurt Russell's character there was a lot to digest from the frenzied panel. In amongst all of that madness was arguably one of the most exciting announcements made that day, and it didn't actually have anything to do with the new movie.

In the latest shake-up of things at Disney's Anaheim theme park, it was announced that the Tower of Terror ride in the California Adventure section of the park would be getting a facelift, dropping the Twilight Zone theme to become a new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction called Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission – BREAKOUT!.

Opening quote
"The setting is a kind of warehouse/fortress/power plant where the Collector keeps all of the objects that he's brought from all around the Universe," said Walt Disney's Joe Rhodey. "Once we enter, we're kind of in a museum. All this stuff is around us in cases, and in there now –in prison – are the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Closing quote

Essentially, the bones of the ride will remain the same as the Tower of Terror's existing adrenaline-fueled format. However, as the concept art for the ride shows, it's going to look almost unrecognizable when compared with its original form.
