Geoff Johns is Now President of DC Entertainment
Practically everyone was excited to hear the news when Geoff Johns was put in charge of the DCEU along with Jon Berg. His seemingly countless critically acclaimed comics and his work as an intern under Richard Donner undoubtedly make him one of the best men for the job. Now it seems that Johns was given a different, simultaneous promotion that the public is only catching wind of now: he's officially the president of DC Entertainment.

Geoff Johns is the author of works like The New 52's Aquaman, Batman: Earth One, Flashpoint, Superman: Secret Origin, Superman: Last Son, The Flash: Rebirth, Green Lantern: Rebirth, the entire run of The New 52's Justice League, and most recently, DC Universe: Rebirth. He's often regarded as one of the best of the best authors currently working in the comics industry, and certainly not without good reason.

Likewise, Johns was confirmed as co-author of the Wonder Woman script, and was also confirmed to have written the first draft of the Aquaman script. Furthermore, he's been helping Ben Affleck with his take on Batman, and has been praised by basically everyone he's had the opportunity to work with inside the DCEU.

All of this is simply to say, if there is one person in the universe meant to be the president of DC Entertainment, it's probably Geoff Johns. Congratulations, Mr. Johns. You've earned it.
