Watch the Cast and Crew of Stranger Things Get Scared By a Prank
The new Netflix series Stranger Things is taking the world by storm, captivating audiences and critics alike. The show pays homage to several classic 80's movies all the while delivering a near-perfect blend of sci-fi and horror. One part of what makes the show so spectacular and memorable is its particularly lovable cast, many of which were cruelly pranked in a new promotional video that Netflix recently released on their YouTube account.

In the video, several members of the cast and crew found themselves asking the question "should I stay or should I go?" after being brought into a room where some pretty strange things start to happen. They begin to act just a bit nervous when the lights start flickering and the walls start moving - events that serve as precursors for the coming of the monsters in the actual Netflix series.

The cast of Stranger Things are, for the most part, pretty phenomenal actors, especially for so many of them being so young. In fact, they're good enough to make it difficult to tell whether or not this little prank was rehearsed or whether they genuinely got a bit of a scare.

Netflix also performed the same prank on some of those who were in attendance for an early screening of the first two episodes, and the results are somewhat amusing as well.

It would be extremely cool to see this prank made into an all-out haunted house style attraction of some sort, complete with moving furniture and creatures popping out of walls in the flickering light. Sure, it might just be one fan's crazy hope, but who knows? It certainly sounds like something that would fit right in on the exhibit floor at SDCC.

The show has already gained quite a following, even though it's only been on Netflix for a little over two weeks. It seems to be a shoe-in for a second season; so much so that if it doesn't receive a green light for season 2, it could very well be a tragedy on par with the Firefly cancellation. However, that potential end result is extremely doubtful to ever come to fruition, and the creators of the show already have plans for what they want to do with the series' second season. Hopefully, that means fans will be heading back to the Upside Down again sooner, rather than later.
