Get a Detailed Glimpse at Yondu's New Look for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
At San Diego Comic Con last month, Marvel dominated a packed Hall H line-up by unleashing Ravagers upon the 6,000 audience members in attendance. But that unruly mob weren't the only Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 characters to appear in full costume. Michael Rooker's Yondu was one of many standout hits from the first movie, and the geek-favorite was in fine form as he showcased Yondu's new look on SDCC's biggest stage.

Now, Marvel has released a new image of the blue-skinned bad-ass, giving us a much closer look at his new style.

The most noticeable tweak to Yondu's appearance is his more pronounced mohawk, which is more in line with how the character appears in the Marvel comics. Thankfully, that's where the similarities with the comicbook Yondu end, because I think we can all agree that nobody wants to see Rooker being forced to wear that weird yellow loincloth that his character sports in his early comicbook appearances.
