First Details on that Huge Arrow/Flash/Supergirl/Legends of Tomorrow Crossover
The CW is being coy about confirming the huge Supergirl/Arrow/Flash/LOT crossover (although they've at least confirmed that Supergirl will visit all three shows this fall), but the executive producers and actors have already started letting a few details slip. Here's everything we know about the crossover so far, including when it will air, the first intel on the villain, and how Supergirl will come into play.

At a Comic Con press event (via CBR), Arrow EP Wendy Mericle revealed that the crossover will coincide with Arrow's 100th episode, or the eighth episode of the fifth season, which will likely air in late November (although no date is officially set).

Opening quote
"I can tell you it's our hundredth, which is exciting," said Mericle. "We are just sort of getting into it right now. It's going to be the biggest one we've done, it's going to involve all four shows, which is unprecedented. Every year we think, 'oh, we've figured this out, we know how to do two shows, now we're adding in three shows, and we've never had to do four. It's going to be interesting. It will be a four-part story, 'Supergirl' airing first will obviously be the kickoff."

And further, EW's Spoiler Room revealed that The CW is about to start making official announcements, but that Greg Berlanti can at least reveal a little tidbit about the antagonist:

Opening quote
It's a bit early to reveal anything big just yet as Greg Berlanti tells me they're just about to start breaking the crossover episodes. But the uber-producer did give me one tease to share with the masses: "I'm going to probably try to have one unifying threat, as opposed to different things on different ones, which is what the first year was," Berlanti reveals.

It will probably make the crossover feel more cohesive to have one villain, but which villain could be big enough that Supergirl would need to come to the aid of Arrow, The Flash, and all of the Legends? The fact that Supergirl seems to be the unifying thread across all four episodes probably means that it's a Supergirl villain, but beyond that, we have no idea.

There is, of course, a little logistical problem with Supergirl showing up in Central City/Star City/wherever the Legends find themselves: she's currently in another universe. Stephen Amell teased at Wizard World Philadelphia (via Comicbook.com) that, this being science fiction and all, that problem could be fixed with "one line of dialogue":

Opening quote
"Um, obviously Supergirl is in a little bit of a different universe, but we can fix that. That's one line of dialogue and it's all fixed. So I would suspect Oliver will be meeting Supergirl at some point."

Meanwhile, Supergirl EP Sarah Schecter stayed even vaguer on what that solution might be, and only said that "big events" would lead to Supergirl's appearance in another universe.

Opening quote
"I look forward to all of the Reddit discussions of what they might be," said Schecter. "But yeah, we have some really fun things planned."
