Robert Downey Jr. Breaks the Internet With Infinity War Poster
Robert Downey Jr. caused quite a stir on Sunday, August 7, when he shared a fan-made poster for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War to his Facebook account. The reason for the excitement? The poster lists a bunch of actors who hail from Marvel's TV universe as part of the cast.

Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Jon Bernthal (Punisher), Finn Jones (Iron Fist), and Elodie Yung (Elektra) are all listed as starring in the film, along with the bulk of the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This is of course the dream of many Marvel fans, but Marvel has so far shown no signs that they're willing to bring any of their TV stars into the movies. Downey himself doesn't acknowledge that the poster is fan-made, instead only including the caption, "Excited?" leading some to believe it might be legit.

But it doesn't take long to figure out that the poster is too good to be true. Most obviously, the poster is for "Avengers: Infinity War - Parts One and Two," but we've recently learned that Infinity War will now consist of just one film. Not only that, but a poster that's just a wall of names would never be approved as being representative of the flashy Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We wish it were true, but sadly this poster is as fake as can be.
