This 'Civil War' Deleted Scene Fills an Important Gap
Captain America: Civil War was easily this year's best superhero movie (so far, anyway), but it still wasn't perfect. Many had issues with the convoluted plan of the film's villain, Zemo, including his off-screen murder and subsequent impersonation of a character we hadn't even really met. Now, a recently released deleted scene from the film's Blu-ray helps fill in the gaps in his dastardly scheme.

In the scene, Zemo is at an airport doing his "listening to my dead wife's voicemails" thing when in walks the man he's been waiting for: Dr. Theo Broussard, AKA the man whom Zemo will murder and then impersonate in order to unleash the Winter Soldier. Zemo approaches Broussard, convinces him he's there to pick him up, and the two leave together. It's not much, but it adds a little more context to the scene where Broussard ends up dead in a bathtub. You can check out the scene below.

The Captain America: Civil War Blu-ray hits stores on September 13.
