These Are the Classic Star Wars Vinyl Covers You Never Knew You Needed

Aside from John Williams' classic score, the Star Wars universe is somewhat short on music, leaving us to wonder what type of tunes the characters listen to when they're not shooting people (first!) at the cantina. Now, we no longer have to wonder, since a genius artist has designed instantly recognizable album covers for all of your favorite Star Wars characters.

The mash-ups, made by digital artist Steven Lear at Why the Long Play Face, are all absolutely amazing, combining our favorite Star Wars characters with some of the greatest albums in history. Our favorites, however, are probably Yoda's "Mindnever" and Lando getting in touch with his purple side. We would have guessed that Billy Dee Williams' fan favorite would make music that emulated Prince, although realistically, angsty Nirvana music is probably more Kylo Ren's thing.

Lear, whose work can be seen on his Facebook and Instagram, has a habit of mashing up geeky properties with classic albums. Aside from Star Wars, he has also drawn successful (and hilarious) parallels between Pulp Fiction and Simon and Garfunkel, as well as Bane with David Bowie
