Star Wars Releases Two Stop-Motion Animations Featuring Rogue One Toys
In just a few weeks, toy stores will be filled with Rogue One figurines, LEGOs, Funkos and more, and now we have two adorable stop-motion animations to prove it:

The videos are part of a weekly series running through September called "Go Rogue," which promotes the new Star Wars toys coming out for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Aside from the "coming soon" Lego Death Star, there are Hasbro figures of Jyn, Diego Luna's Cassian Andor, and K-2SO, as well as Funko Pop! figures of Orson Krennic and Disney Store figurines of Death Troopers.

This is a four-part series, so there are two left to go. Each video will introduce more figures, as well as continue a silly overview of Rogue One's storyline. It's not canon or anything, even though it comes from the official Star Wars account, but it's probably semi-accurate, and will undoubtedly leave you saying "TAKE MY MONEY!"

Most of the toys are already available for pre-order, and after the videos are all released and the toys come out, there will be a contest. From September 30th to October 30th, you can make your own videos with the toys and submit them here for a chance to see them on the big screen along with a special screening of the film at Lucasfilm headquarters in San Francisco. Children ages 8-12 have their own category, and can submit here.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
