Neill Blomkamp Shares Eerie Photo from His Mysterious Mutant Movie
Neill Blomkamp has just released a disturbing photo from his next project, which unfortunately isn't either Alien 5 or District 10. But it's definitely still in the geeky realm, and is likely from his long-gestating mutant movie called "Mild Oats."

Working on new things. Currently not alien

Although it looks like an Engineer with his face smashed in, this is probably a prop from his movie Mild Oats, which sounds super weird. Back in 2013, before Elysium and Chappie were unleashed on the world, Wired (via Slashfilm) did a profile on the up-and-coming director, in which he previewed a movie that was "somewhere between John Waters and Jackass."

Opening quote
Blomkamp wants to show off a prop from Mild Oats, a low-budget movie he's developing that he describes as "somewhere between John Waters and Jackass." He removes a panel from a nearby wooden crate, uncharacteristically giddy. "You should be scared," he warns. He's right: The crate houses a 3-foot-tall, photo-realistic silicone puppet rocking a mullet and jailhouse tattoos. The deranged redneck stands completely naked, revealing six nipples and a prodigious, uncircumcised penis. The character's name, Marvin, is inked on said organ in gothic lettering.
Closing quote

And this is supposedly a teaser for the movie in Wired's iPad issue, which is really f*cking weird:

Not much else is known about the movie, although it seems to have a Twitter account, but it seems to definitely exist. You can find a photo of Blomkamp with the infamous Marvin here.
