Here's How 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Looks Without CGI
Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the best and most thrilling science fiction films to come out in recent years, and one thing that set it apart from other movies was its incredible visual effects. The film didn't look like a bunch of artificial CGI clogging up the screen, and that's because it apparently wasn't.

Although the movie does use some computer effects to enhance what's on camera, a lot of the crazy action was really happening out in the desert. We didn't realize just how much until we saw this new video full of raw footage of the movie. We have to admit, it doesn't look all that different from the final product.

That is a crazy amount of crashes, explosions, and people being thrown on top of moving vehicles. Prior to seeing this, I would have guessed the bulk of those shots had been the result of CGI, and I would have been dead wrong. Obviously details like wires and the stuntmen pushing the poles on top of the cars were later removed digitally, and some vehicles were digitally inserted into their settings, but it looks like the majority of the actual stunts in the film were physically performed for real - a welcome rarity in today's Hollywood landscape.

So after seeing what's possible with practical effects, we just have one question: Would someone please let George Miller make a Star Wars movie!?
