Marvel to Debut New Animated Film at NYCC
During San Diego Comic Con, we learned that Marvel was developing a new feature length animated film starring the Hulk, Doctor Strange, and the monster team known as the Howling Commandos. It was stated that the film, called Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell, would premiere sometime in the fall, but we didn't know when. Until now.

Marvel has announced that the movie will have its premiere at New York Comic Con on Sunday, October 9. Here's the official announcement:

Opening quote
"Join Marvel Animation for the world premiere of the new animated film, Marvel's Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell! This spooky, action-packed, feature-length film follows Hulk, Doctor Strange and the Howling Commandos on a mission to stop Nightmare from conquering the world. Cort Lane (SVP, Animation and Family Entertainment) will join you to host this exciting, family-friendly premiere in Room 1A06 – can't wait to see you there!"
Closing quote

We definitely like that the film is described as spooky in the announcement, since its title is derived from one of Marvel's horror comic lines from the '70s. But we have to admit we were a little more excited following the San Diego description, where the film was referred to as "dark, creepy, and more adult." The new description points out that the movie is "family-friendly," and while we weren't expecting The Killing Joke or anything, we'd still like the film to be for a more mature audience than the TV shows currently being put out by Marvel animation. In any case, we'll find out in October.
