X-Men: Apocalypse Gag Reel Will Make You Wish the Movie Were This Much Fun
Between Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman, and X-Men: Apocalypse, 2016 has been filled with comic book blockbusters that wrangled an amazing cast, and yet managed to be total drags. Now, the X-Men: Apocalypse blooper reel has been released, and it will make you wish the movie were half as funny and charming as watching the all-star cast flub lines:

In the video, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult are the predictable MVPs, with McAvoy making funny faces and acknowledging the homoerotic subtext with Magneto, Lawrence making comic book jokes in place of doing her actual scene, and Hoult adding R-rated commentary to Mystique's "rousing" call to action. Honorable mention also goes to Alexandra Shipp, who is having the most fun by far with her special effects harness. If only the film could have taken advantage of the cute, friendly rapport the cast clearly has together, then maybe it wouldn't have been such a slog.

The blooper reel, along with other special features and deleted scenes, will be released on the X-Men: Apocalypse Blu ray, available on October 4.
