Game of Thrones Filming Spoilers Tease a Major Battle Ahead
Filming spoilers are starting to come out on season seven of Game of Thrones, and now we might have intel about a major battle scene coming up. Rumors have been going around that there would be a naval battle with Daenerys' soldiers, but it looks like we might have a land battle on our hands, featuring many, many extras, carriages, and a dragon.

According to a report from Watchers on the Wall, casting announcements leaked from HBO that indicated they were looking for extras to play Unsullied soldiers. Their latest information from Spanish language website Los Siete Reinos tells them that a scene was filming in Malpartida de Cáceres, Spain that features lots of extras as well as horses, but not in an aquatic area as previously reported.

Opening quote
It was commonly believed that Game of Thrones would be filming a battle in Malpartida's beautiful Los Barruecos National Monument, but the latest spoilers have us shifting our attention a bit.

The newest info from Los Siete Reinos confirms that the battle will not happen on the water- it will take place alongside it. Game of Thrones will be shooting on a private property a few minutes' drive northeast of Los Barruecos called Las Breñas. Los Siete Reinos has also heard strong rumors that the battle will include at least one dragon.
Closing quote

They report that the scene will also feature characters carried on carriages or wagons, which indicates that someone of nobility will be carried onto the battlefield. Further, according to El Periódico Extremadura, there will be three days of filming at Trujillo Castle, for a scene that will require one hundred extras. If there were any doubts that this season of Game of Thrones will up its game, they're pretty much gone now.
