Moira Queen is Set to Appear in Arrow’s 100th Episode
Not long ago, it was announced that Manu Bennett would be reprising his role as Deathstroke for Arrow's 100th episode. Now, it looks like he won't be the only Arrow alum coming back to Star City for what could be the show's biggest episode yet, as Susannah Thompson will be returning to the small screen for the show's centennial episode as Moira Queen, mother of the Green Arrow.

How exactly Moira will play a part in Arrow season 5 has yet to be revealed, though it seems safe to say that something pretty strange is going to have to happen in order for her appearance to be warranted. Jamey Sheridan and Katie Cassidy will also be coming back for Arrow's 100th episode, reprising their own roles as Robert Queen and Laurel Lance.

Will all of this be due to the effects of Flashpoint? In Geoff Johns' comic of the same name, the universe was forever altered in some pretty significant ways due to Barry tampering with time. Could it be that the Flashpoint event will retcon the deaths of all of Arrow's fallen friends? Or is something else strange and otherworldly going on?

Though there's been no confirmation that Thompson or any other of the actors are going to be here to stay, it's still exciting to know that their roles in the Arrowverse aren't quite finished. If they were brought back for good, it could potentially be a positive, as the family dynamic of the first two seasons were part of Arrow's glory days.

Arrow season 5 starts Wednesday, October 5th at 8 p.m. ET.
