Marvel Teases Future Connection Between the Netflix Shows and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
A few members of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast-Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, and Gabriel Luna-took the stage today at New York Comic Con to introduce a new episode featuring Ghost Rider. But before the episode started rolling, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb hinted at the thing Marvel fans love most: more interconnectivity between franchises.

While Marvel is technically an interconnected universe, some franchises seem to exist very separately. The TV shows that don't share a network, for example, seem to exist in parallel universes more than anything else. So one fan asked, with the stakes on Agents of SHIELD constantly rising, "When are they going to pay attention to what's going on right here in Hell's Kitchen?"

Loeb laughed, but took the question in stride, and teased that we might actually see more connectivity in the future:

Opening quote
"It's a good question, and the answer is—stay tuned," said Loeb.
Closing quote

This would be very exciting, and I'm curious to see how it could possibly happen. Agents of SHIELD has a completely different tone from the Netflix shows (although it's getting a little bit closer now that it's moved to 10 PM), but is it possible that a character could cross over? I would love to see Daisy meet Jessica Jones, or Coulson buddy up with Foggy. As per usual with Marvel, we'll have to wait and see, but it's safe to say that connection between the Marvel TV shows might not be Easter eggs and lip service for much longer.
