We've been thoroughly enjoying Netflix's Luke Cage (and checking out his team-up with Iron First in the comics), from its noir-y intro to its complex characters and Harlem-based setting. It's a show with a lot of grit and serious moments...that is, until Cousin Turkel comes around.

That's right, somebody under the name Zach Ace re-imagined Luke Cage as a 90s sitcom and apparently spent their weekend editing a new trailer for it, complete with the intro song from the original show, As Days Go By.

For those of us too young to remember what Family Matters was, it started out as a sitcom about an African-American family, the Winslows. It's one of the longest-running sitcoms with an African-American cast in US television history, running for almost a decade. But even if you don't remember the show, you probably know its most infamous character: Urkel. The suspender-wearing little nerd ended up dominating the show, leading Key & Peele to devote an incredibly dark (and hilarious) sketch to the moment when Urkel takes over the show.

Luke Cage is many things, but a family sitcom it is not. Still, Mr. Ace's masterful editing of those title credits and footage makes the show seem like a fun slice-of-life in Harlem, down to the panning shots of the bridge and the theme song. Hats off to you! Let us know when there's a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air edit of Arrow.

You can watch Luke Cage Season 1 on Netflix now.
