Doctor Strange Mid-Credits Scene Teases Appearance in Another Marvel Movie
Kevin Feige has teased that Doctor Strange will have a significant role in the future of the MCU, so naturally, he'll appear in Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel. But now, it looks like we'll see Benedict Cumberbatch's hero again sooner than we thought, since the mid-credits scene seems to confirm him for an appearance in another Marvel movie.

Possible spoilers ahead! (Click to reveal)

The mid-credits scene reveals Thor's return to Earth, which marks the first time we've seen him since Avengers: Age of Ultron (unless you count that amazing video of him and Darryl). He says he's come to Earth to find his father, Odin, and Strange responds, "Allow me to help you," which clearly implies that he will be appearing—and maybe playing a significant role in—Thor: Ragnarok.

This doesn't come as too much of a surprise, considering that set photos previously revealed Thor holding the address of the Sanctum Sanctorum. But we hadn't seen any pictures of Cumberbatch filming, so there was still a chance that it was an Easter egg rather than an actual crossover. Now, it looks like Strange will be playing a large role in the MCU and popping up all over the place, especially since he's one of the most powerful heroes by far.

Doctor Strange comes out in theaters today.
