New Justice League Action Clips Hit the Web
This year at San Diego Comic Con, DC fans were given their first real taste of Justice League Action, the new animated series set to debut on Cartoon Network in just a few short weeks. With veteran voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill returning to voice their respective roles of Batman and the Joker, the series has garnered a lot of hype from nostalgic fans who grew up on the Bruce Timm Batman and Justice League animated series. Now that the series premiere is approaching rapidly, Warner Bros. has released three new clips to demonstrate just what DC fans can expect from Justice League Action.

Each clip features the Caped Crusader in action, but other iconic DC characters appear as well. Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Toy Man, Superman, Mongul, Star Girl, Joker, Flash, Detective Gordon, Blue Beetle - seeing so many characters from the DCU is definitely a reason for fans to be excited. It would also seem that while humor will evidently play a big part in the show, fans won't have to worry about Action being the Justice League equivalent to Teen Titans Go!. Still, it doesn't seem to have the same level of drama that defined the Timm Justice League series. Perhaps it would be most comparable to the original Teen Titans, where things were often more than a bit goofy, but there was still a semi-serious plot going on at the same time.

Interestingly enough, it would seem that the show will be paying homage to the DCEU as well, as evidenced by the shots of Batman and Superman in the Toy Man clip that very closely parallel certain promo pictures from Batman v Superman. Of course, Teen Titans Go! often parodies certain ideas from Batman films of the past as well, so it's no surprise that JLA has apparently decided to utilize DC easter eggs as well.

Justice League Action is set to debut on November 27th on Cartoon Network.
