Demons Invade the World in First Trailer for Justice League Dark
DC Animation recently had a mishap with their heavily criticized (and controversial) Killing Joke adaptation, but that didn't stop them from doubling down on R-rated animated movies. The trailer for Justice League Dark is here, and it both confirms and justifies that R-rating:

While it doesn't show too much graphic violence, it's clear that this movie is not for kids. The trailer shows demons creepily invading the DC universe, bringing with them magic that the Justice League proper can't really handle. Batman suggests bringing in John Constantine, who in turn brings in Zatanna, Etrigan the Demon, and Deadman.

Fans will be happiest to hear that Matt Ryan, star of the now-defunct NBC show, is reprising his role as Constantine, while Rosario Dawson voices Wonder Woman and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Jason O'Mara voices Batman. Batman will have a significant role throughout the movie, as the writers say he will serve as a proxy for the audience. Or, they just want Batman in everything because he's a safe bet. That too.

Justice League Dark comes out next year.
