A New Supergirl Poster Hints That Martian Manhunter May Join the Crossover
The CW's DC crossover event is probably the coolest thing to happen to superhero TV since Luke Cage's intro sequence (and the unexpected sitcom parody). Starting on November 28th, we'll get to see the Flash pulling Supergirl into helping him, Arrow, and the Legends of Tomorrow beat down some metahuman-hating aliens in what some are calling "Best. Teamup. Ever!"

Supergirl may be our favorite part of the upcoming crossover. Exhibit A: the new clip with Kara meeting the team. Exhibit B: the new poster released to hype the upcoming Dominator arc, which shows her floating heroically in the air with two aliens in the background (it's okay, one of them is J'onnz):

One thing that the poster teases is whether we get to see Martian Manhunter in action against the Dominators. As we saw in the promo clip above, Barry promised to bring back an alien, and that's Kara. But J'onn J'onzz is an incredibly useful person to have around, so we may see the team call for his aid when things get desperate. Maybe he knows more about the Dominators than people realize...

Supergirl has dealt with aliens before, including Mon-El and J'onzz, but the new Dominators looks positively spooky (Barry even compares them to World War Z zombies). When leading up to the event, some of the showrunners said that they were going to keep true to the image of the Dominators in the original comics, but as we've seen so far, that's mostly not true: the original Dominators were yellow, had scary needle-teeth, and wore robes. These Dominators look like emaciated Groots mixed with (yes, Barry...) zombies.

The big crossover event starts on November 28th, with Supergirl at 8 PM on the CW. If you didn't see the official episode synopsis for the 100th episode of Arrow (which coincides with the Invasion! event), check it out here
