Rumored 'Rogue One' Cast List Shows Re-Cast Original Trilogy Roles
Rogue One has yet to hit theaters, and when it does it will surely feature some surprises for fans. But some of those biggest surprises may have been spoiled thanks to a purported cast list that appeared on Reddit.

The list shows new actors taking on the roles of some iconic characters from the original trilogy in the film, and while we can't guarantee its authenticity, the actors are obscure enough to seemingly lend the list some credibility. So if you can't wait until December 16, click below to see what familiar characters could be appearing in Rogue One.

Possible spoilers ahead! (Click to reveal)

According to the list, Princess Leia will be played by Ingvild Deila, who appeared briefly in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Given her inexperience, I would guess that her appearance in the film is limited to a quick cameo; and maybe not even a speaking role. Also showing up is General Dodonna, played this time by Ian McElhinney, who is best known for his role as Ser Barristan Selmy on Game of Thrones. Finally, rounding out the cameos is Guy Henry as Grand Moff Tarkin. This is perhaps the most believable, given that rumors were already swirling that the original Star Wars villain would appear in the film in one form or another.

Like I said, we can't confirm that this is true, but it certainly sounds believable - and should serve to excite fans of the original trilogy even more.
