Here Comes The New 'Logan' Trailer
The first Logan trailer debuted this past October and immediately drew cheers and tears from all who witnessed it—we even picked out ten of the coolest moments and put them into gif form so we could savor them on loop. Since then we've got a look at Caliban, the albino mutant who will ostensibly help Logan and Professor X find X-23, and a still photo from the movie that depicts Logan carrying X-23 to safety, leaving a trail of carnage in his wake. Finally, we've gotten hints that Professor X, who parallels Hawkeye in Old Man Logan, will not survive the film. Now it sounds like there's another brand-new trailer on the horizon.

Proving once again that it's important to keep your eyes on the international film scene, The British Board of Film Classification (which assigns age ratings like the Motion Picture Association of America) has recently published its classification of the new Logan trailer, along with the runtime, it's publication date, and whether the trailer was cut. As it stands, the trailer was deemed suitable for ages 12 and up, runs for 1 minute and 31 seconds, and had no content cut from it to make the 12A rating. The release date is set as 02/03/2017 (one month before the movie hits theaters), but the trailer may come out sooner in the US—we'll be keeping our eyes peeled.

What does all this add up to? Well, we can infer that this new trailer will be less graphic than the first, considering that the original one was rated 15 by the BBFC and contained scenes of adamantium claws impaling a dude's skull from the chin up. We can also be pretty safe in saying the trailer will be coming to us as Mangold and the crew intended it, since nothing had to be cut to bring down the age rating. We may be getting a more fleshed-out look at the plot, another glimpse of Caliban, or the mandate behind the Reapers, but what we're hoping to see is more of Logan and Laura Kinney, aka X-23, especially their relationship and whether Laura is a well-adjusted little girl with murder-claws or a feral test subject, like Eleven from Stranger Things.

Stay tuned!
