'Black Panther' Adds 'People V. O.J. Simpson' Star To Its Cast
As awesome casting announcements for Black Panther continue, the next addition to the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe film is Sterling K. Brown, the award-winning star of The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and This Is Us.

According to a press release from Marvel, Brown will play an original but important-sounding character in the film. Named N'Jobu, all that's currently known is that he's "a figure from T'Challa aka Black Panther's past." That's super cryptic and Marvel surely meant it that way, but since there are no characters from the comic books with that name, it's all we have to go on for now.

But given Brown's track record, N'Jobu is someone to look forward to. He won an Emmy for his role as lawyer Chris Darden in American Crime Story, and he's also a major player as Randall in the popular show This Is Us

The Black Panther cast has already been stellar for some time. Besides the return of Chadwick Boseman as the hero, the film will also include Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, and The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira (who plays Michonne). Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are also slated to return after minor appearances in Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, respectively.

Black Panther is currently scheduled to come out on February 16, 2018.
